YNOT | Pannier Line

Ynot-1
Ynot-2

YNOT has some awesome products and has recently launched a Kickstarter to expand on their pannier line.

“One year ago we released our first bicycle pannier, saddle bag or bike bag. We were striving for a design that had the same aesthetic and durability as our other messenger bags and backpacks – but instead offered the benefits of being a rack mounted bag. So, with the knowledge we’ve gained in 5 years of making tough gear, we studied our other tried and true bags, and came up with the Pan-Yay! A solid design that’s highly functional, yet simple in style.

The pan-yay is an expanding roll-top bag, designed to suit various sized loads. The floating separated liner improves water resistance, with no shared seams at the base of the bag. You can put dirty clothes or tools between the layers, protecting the contents of your bag. Reflective accents helps you stay visible at night. Also, the high density polyethylene backplate gives the bag a solid structure. When you reach your destination, quickly attach the adjustable shoulder strap, and bring your bag with you on foot.”

MTL 10-9 – Tales From The Road

This video by Ombres & Lumières is awesome. I can’t wait to see whats next!”

Bern has a vision for the future of urban environments. Cities where parks, green spaces and bike lanes are a high priority. The Bern BBR program and vélo iBike project in Montréal are born from this vision. Together we are more and we want to share this vision with the cities and cycling communities.
iBike developed the ideas for 2 video projects. Two short movies that will tell the underground cycling stories of Montreal. Bern video sessions started in New York last summer and Bern has now teamed up with Vélo iBike and Studio Ombres & Lumières to tell the fixed gear story of Montreal. iBike has always wanted to tell the story of the messengers and has taken this opportunity with Bern to be able to do so with the first video.
The first video of the Montreal Bern sessions is titled ‘’ 10 – 9: Tales From The Road’’.”

Chrome Photobomb Messenger LTD

chromeChrome Industries released a limited edition messenger bag. They teamed up with photographer Ricky Powell to create this amazing piece.

After quitting his job at the frozen lemonade stall back in 1985, Ricky Powell, the self-proclaimed “”Lazy Hustler””, took his Minolta AF down the path where celebrity and debauchery meet. From Cindy Crawford in the bathroom to Andy Warhol on the streets of Brooklyn, the born and bred New Yorker is known for his uncanny ability to in the right place at the right time.

Early in his career he worked as a messenger to make ends meet, so Ricky was stoked to bomb our iconic Citizen Messenger Bag with his photos. He requested that we make the inside of the bag purple – the color of royalty and Ricky’s favorite color. A custom patch based on Ricky’s iconic hand radio is sewn inside each Photobomb Messenger Bag to commemorate this collaboration. We only produced a limited amount of these LTD Messenger Bags and when they’re gone, they’re gone.
